 I Ask Forgiveness

 I start anew
I let go of the offense
No one owes me
I forgive

Me

Colossians 3:13
Romans 8:1

Starting this new journey means that the old is gone, and the new has arrived. Let’s get to the point. Forgiveness is not an attribute to acquire. It’s not a part of your personality that you need to change. It is a command. And, by that you forgive everyone else except yourself. You hold offenses and bury yourself deep in self-condemnation when God has already forgiven you your trespasses. Sometimes we don’t realize the implications of our actions. God by the sacrificial lamb and the blood redemption forgave the world. So, when we live in unforgiveness, whether to ourselves or others, we throw wind at that important fact.

So, how do we forgive? Well, sometimes it’s hard, but controlling your thoughts is a good place to start. The thought of being hurt or disrespected weighs very heavy in your thoughts. Your mind begins to run automatically on autopilot of past things. It not only causes mental and physical dis-ease, but your reactions to life is affected by it. In addition, let’s take hold of the fact that God created all things, and desire all men saved. So, we must pray for all who have hurt us and realize that our prayers help in their salvation. At the same time, it releases spiritual pressures and anxiety allowing us to rest in Him.

Forgiving things of old is like gold to the soul. You can desire and create new positive life changing situations. And, the voice of the Holy Spirit normally quiet, can now be heard.

MOVEMENT
